For more than twenty years, Dahlia’s Tear has wandered through the labyrinths of dark ambient, crafting soundscapes of solitude, grief, and spectral beauty. Now, after two decades of sonic exploration, the project turns inward — not to close a chapter, but to reawaken it in a new light.

Across its long history, fragments of haunting themes resurface, reinterpreted as minimal, reverb-soaked piano versions that lay bare the essence of the music in its most fragile form.

This is not a return after silence, nor a collection of new works. Instead, it is a reimagining — a journey back through the memory of sound itself. The vast drones and shadowed textures dissolve into delicate keystrokes, echoing like distant voices from the mist. In these stripped-down interpretations, what remains is the raw pulse of melancholy — intimate, elusive, and profoundly remembered but lived again, where broken fragments of the past whisper through the haze. In this forgotten land, every melody emerges as though carried by a failing gramophone, trembling across vast distances, distorted yet eternal.

As the piano reverberates through this land, memories awaken. They do not return whole, but fractured — blurred by the weight of years, eroded by silence, and transfigured by longing. Each piece becomes a fragile elegy, both haunted and haunting, echoing the shadows of what once was and the reveries of what can never return.

In this release, Dahlia’s Tear offers not just music, but a descent into the heart of remembrance itself. A meditation on loss, time, and fragility — a passage into a forgotten, mysterious land, where forgotten dreams drift in the fog, and sorrow becomes a strange and beautiful sanctuary.

This album is human.

The setting of this transformation in a forgotten land shrouded in endless fog. Time here does not pass, but lingers, unraveling like smoke through hollow ruins. It is a realm where sorrow is not merely the sound of somber silence, where the mists of a forgotten land stretch endlessly across time.

Here, sorrow drifts like smoke through abandoned streets and crumbling ruins, and memories, long buried, rise once more.
